A conformance profile narrows the HL7v2 standard to the subset of segments, fields, datatypes, and table values that a particular interface accepts. This page will cover what the standard says about profiles, how vendors and integrators publish them, and the role profiles play in real deployments.
For the Glion-specific view of how profiles drive validation, see Message conformance.
